LET GIRLS BE GIRLS

African Women's Research Initiative for Social Empowerment

African Women's R.I.S.E. is a non-profit organization based in the United States. The organization uses education, research, publication, advocacy, and capacity-building as tools to address and combat pressing social issues that impede the success of disadvantaged girls in rural Africa. We prioritize research and publication initiatives that raise awareness and promote the rights and social empowerment of girls to engender positive changes for future generations of women in Africa.

We strive to create lasting change and empower the next generation of women through knowledge generation, building the capacity of vulnerable girls through scholarships and combating child exploitation.
